I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I was nervous upon arrival but the nurses and Dr. Coetzee were superior, as was the anesthesiologist assigned to me.
All questions were answered, everything was explained in advance, I was made extremely comfortable (as was my wife, which I also appreciate). Again, a truly outstanding experience for an unpleasant necessity!
Exceptionally good service. The staff created a safe atmosphere for me to have a rather simple surgical procedure. The staff was friendly, had good eye contact and smiled a lot and answered all my questions and answered questions I didn’t even know I had.

This was my first experience with surgery as a patient. The role of the nursing staff can’t be understated.Kathy, my pre-op nurse, was efficient, comforting and excellent in her professional care.
Similarly, the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist provided excellent care in a professional and pleasant manner. I felt no pain and had no nausea post operatively.
This was a great place to have surgery. Everyone was very nice and treated me wonderfully. All questions were answered and patient confidentiality was a 10/10.
I’ve never had a better experience. I was VERY impressed – from my first consultation with the surgeon. He was a second opinion and he won my confidence and my surgery.
He truly seemed to understand my goals and help me make a decision I feel very good about — but it didn’t stop there. The surgery went so incredibly smooth and the follow up amazed me. I had a phone call right away, a card came in the mail, and I have a single point of contact for all my questions post surgery that I can reach! Also, the protocol for rehab was detailed and both I and my Physical therapist know exactly what to do to make sure I attain the best result from my surgery.
I am recommending both my surgeon, Dr. Wulf and TCO and the Crosstown Surgery Center to everyone I know that may have a need. The healthcare system as a whole should take note, as your facility is one of the best run all the way around – they could learn a lot from you folks. Thank you.
