Stephen Olmsted, MD specializes in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery, as well as fracture care. He also has special interests in scaphoid fractures, carpal instability, nerve compression syndrome, and arthritis reconstruction.


Dr. Olmsted graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he also completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery. He completed his fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular  surgery at the University of California, Davis.
